It only takes one interaction with Lengwe to encounter her patience, groundedness, and kindness rooted in the love of Christ. She oozes warmth that draws people to her. Her calm, uplifting spirit overflows into her roles as a mother, wife, sister, and friend. She relies on the Word of God daily, testifying that the Bible is her favorite book. Lengwe loves to cook, try new recipes, and read.

Lengwe was raised in a Christian home and has known Christ all her life. Lengwe loved going to and from school with her friends as a child. She cherishes the memories of playing outdoor activities and would relive her childhood if given the opportunity. Her mom was a teacher, and her dad served in the army. She looked forward to her parents’ monthly payday when they could buy new clothes or shoes. She is the eldest of two children in her family, and today, she is a mother of four.

Lengwe has a planning, monitoring, and evaluation certificate and a degree in public administration. She previously specialized in project management and coordinated HIV and Aids advocacy and care for a district in one of the Zambian provinces. She also served as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for Riders for Health, an organization that manages vehicles and transport systems for health workers in Africa.

Today, Lengwe serves as the Country Administration and Communications Officer (CACO) for Possibilities Africa in Zambia and has been in this role since July 8, 2024. She is not only responsible for administration and communications, but also bookkeeping and helping with finances as needed. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health.

Lengwe wanted to be part of Possibilities Africa when she heard the organization helps pastors do ministry and transform their lives. She describes Possibilities Africa as the guide that sees immense potential in Africa and gives people the knowledge to utilize resources.

If you ask Lengwe what she loves about her job, she will likely tell you about her passion for holistic transformation and writing stories that give a voice to rural pastors. She testifies that writing the stories has become part of who she is, and it brings her the utmost joy to witness the positive impact.

Lengwe describes the Possibilities Africa team as a family that links arms across multiple countries in brotherly and sisterly love. They are always willing to help when someone is in need and have a deep understanding of one another. Lengwe specifically enjoys the collaborative spirit of Team Zambia. With God, she is confident that Possibilities Africa will achieve the seemingly impossible.
