Staff Profile: Meet Tsegayehu

Tsegayehu, whose name means grace, serves as Possibilities Africa’s Country and Administration Communication Officer (CACO) in Ethiopia—a role that reflects both her deep sense of purpose and her detail-oriented nature. 

Based in Addis Ababa, where she was born and raised, Tsega brings a powerful blend of administrative expertise, financial oversight, and heartfelt communication to ensure smooth operations and clear reporting across our programs in rural communities.

Before joining Possibilities Africa in October 2024, Tsega was a university lecturer with a strong academic background in public health and human anatomy. Her years teaching and mentoring students, coupled with leadership experience as a delegate for the department head, have shaped her into a capable communicator and organizer. She has also served with several missional organizations—bringing medical care and the Gospel to underserved areas, training youth in purity, and advocating for the value of life.

At Possibilities Africa, Tsega’s role bridges the gap between the field and the wider organization, gathering stories, tracking needs, and ensuring voices from rural communities are heard by staff, donors, and stakeholders. She sees her work not just as a job, but as a calling. With every budget tracked, report written, and prayer lifted, she aims to contribute to the holistic transformation of lives across Ethiopia.

Tsega became a follower of Christ at 17, and her journey since then has fueled her passion for Gospel-centered impact. She desires to live a life fully aligned with God’s purpose, serving wherever she is needed and offering her gifts with humility and faith. In her free time, she enjoys reading spiritual books, listening to worship music, and spending time with friends.
