Walt grew up in the mountains of far northern Pennsylvania hunting, fishing, skiing, and playing all possible sports. Walt fell in love with his bride of 41 years (Brenda) while they were serving as counselors at Camp HaLuWaSa in New Jersey. For over 38 years he has been involved in pastoral ministry and bible teaching. It was while teaching the Bible at Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL, his focus became training the next generation of disciples for Christ. Walt has degrees from The Pennsylvania State University; Philadelphia College of Bible; Dallas Theological Seminary and Indiana Wesleyan University. Walt loves to teach Bible in Israel, and has enjoyed leading over 35 Bible study trips to Israel, 7 trips to Jordan, and one to Greece and Turkey. Walt has a strong passion for the consistent application of biblical truths in leadership and teaching. It is his heart’s desire to bear fruit in an honest, vital walk with the Lord and a growing knowledge and love for His Word. He desires to glorify the Lord by seeing individuals come to saving faith and grow as disciples. Walt and Brenda make their home in Uniontown, OH where Walt is on staff at The Chapel in Green as Pastor of Family Ministry. In 2021, they were invited to teach a podcast together (Walk with God) and it now reaches thousands of listeners in over 50 different countries. Walt and Brenda have three adult sons, 7 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter.
